  • Search tasks in every Space and Group with Command-F, across Tasks At Hand, Backlog, and Archive.
  • Add Task and View menus that list every task command and its shortcut, so shortcuts can be changed in System Settings.
  • Choose the archive date when archiving, so an archive period can run to the day of your meeting.
  • Delete a task and its subtasks from the Task menu or with Option-Command-Delete, with Undo.
  • Indent and outdent tasks with Command-] and Command-[, as well as Tab and Shift-Tab.

  • Highlight the matching words in search results, and briefly highlight a task opened from search.
  • Show how many open tasks are in Tasks At Hand and Backlog, and a hint when Tasks At Hand is empty.
  • Keep Add Task and New Group at the bottom of the window while scrolling.
  • Group the keyboard shortcuts panel by task, show keys as Mac key symbols, and explain how to customize shortcuts in System Settings.
  • Start new installs with tasks that show the main shortcuts.
  • Paste text into tasks without carrying over colors or fonts from other apps.

The main feature in this release is due dates. Press Command-D on a task to set one. Overdue tasks are marked in red, and iDid's Dock icon shows how many tasks are due today or overdue, like unread messages in Mail. And some general improvements mainly related to stability, efficiency and simplicity.

Until now, you could get iDid as a free DMG from the website, or buy it on the Mac App Store to support the work. From 0.15.0, iDid is only on the Mac App Store. It's free there now, with all features included and no subscription.

If you want to support development, there is an optional one-time $4.99 purchase inside the app. If you already bought iDid on the App Store, it recognizes that and counts you as a supporter.

Your tasks and Git history still stay on your Mac. Only where you get the app has changed.
